About the Role We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 5 Primary Teacher to join a welcoming school in Lambeth (SW2) from September. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment with a small class of 13 pupils, allowing for a more personalised and impactful teaching approach.
The school offers flexibility, with the option of 5 days on-site, structured as 3 days teaching and 2 days PPA, making it an excellent opportunity for teachers seeking a balanced workload.
Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Year 5 curriculum
  • Assess, monitor, and support pupil progress
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
What We’re Looking For
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in KS2, ideally Year 5
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • A creative and proactive teaching approach
  • Commitment to supporting pupils’ academic and personal development
