English Teacher – Hillside Academy, Liverpool

The Supply Register is partnering with Hillside Academy to recruit a passionate and committed English Teacher for a temporary teaching position.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to join a supportive secondary school and deliver high-quality English Language and Literature lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. The successful candidate will inspire pupils to develop confidence, creativity, and strong analytical skills.

✨ The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and effective English lessons in line with the National Curriculum

  • Teach English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4

  • Create a positive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment

  • Support pupils’ academic progress and foster a love of reading and writing

  • Work collaboratively with the English department and wider school staff

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Proven ability to teach English at KS3 and KS4

  • Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management

  • Commitment to raising attainment and supporting pupil achievement

  • Passion for English and inspiring young learners
